We are joined today by Chris Kelly! Chris is a professional mountain biker and the co-founder of Nourish Balance Thrive! Chris started the company after dealing with several health issues by dealing primarily with his diet, which was the root cause of nearly every ailment  he was experiencing. After he fixed himself, he quit his job at a successful hedge fund to share the love with others, along with his business partner, Julia Kelly, in 2014. Since then, they have created a mountain of content, including his fantastic podcast! We were so grateful to snag him between clients, bike rides, and amazing weather in Santa Cruz for this awesome interview, where he shares so many gems of information. I could have talked to him for hours, especially about cycling, and the insane sport of cyclocross!

It was our pleasure to host Jay Stevens on the show this week! Jay is a fire fighter and is an emergency goalie for the Utah Grizzlies. On December 10, 2016, Jay was called upon to enter the game, where he literally saved the day.  We discussed that day, his amazing desire to help people throughout his career, and which aspects of fitness have helped him stay in great shape. He were happy to also give the listener a lesson on "chirping". We were grateful for Jay and his service and wisdom!

Today we had the honor of speaking with Richard Rossiter! Richard is known for creating Rossiter Stretching, a two-person system designed to offer quick and effective pain relief for many different issues. He has used the system successfully on countless clients for over 30 years now. He wrote the book Step Out of Pain the Rossiter Way in 2006. In 2011, he became an inductee in the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.  He is also recipient of the Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War. Richard shared his wisdom with us about why his system is so effective, the importance of walking and hanging, and why pain should not be masked or ignored. We were thrilled to learn from him!

Today we had the pleasure of speaking with Richard Condit, emeritus professor at the University of Florida, and co-host of one of our favorite podcasts, "TWiV: A podcast about viruses-the kind that make you sick!" What a great conversation we had. Rich tells us about the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, and we ask him what precautions he personally takes himself. Then we learn about his journey into yoga and meditation, and how mindfulness practices have helped him deal with a stressful career. His closing message of kindness is warm and from the heart. Rich was educational, polite, and very kind. We were so grateful to learn from him!

Pace Mannion is a retired basketball player who played in the NBA from 1983 to 1989. He then played in Italy for four more years, where he met his wife Gaia, and had their son Nico, who is a top prospect in the 2020 NBA draft. Our conversation revolved around Pace's career as a pro basketball player, raising a basketball prodigy, and lifestyle factors that helped them all achieve such a high-performing lifestyle. They are some of my best friends, and I loved this conversation. There is so much wisdom that I hope you can also benefit from, including how to set meaningful and realistic goals, and why eating real food is so important. We are so grateful that Pace took some time to his busy life to share this with us!
